@kaliemp: Each jar gets 3 Luzianne tea bags, then slowly filled with water, increasing the temperature a little at a time to help prevent temperature shock. Cover the jars and let them steep for 2 hours. Remove the tea bags, then add ½ cup of sugar to each jar and stir until dissolved. Top off with warm water, leaving ¾ inch of headspace. Process in a boiling water bath for 20 minutes, starting once the canner reaches a full rolling boil. To serve, pour one jar of concentrate into a ½-gallon pitcher or jar, then fill the rest of the way with water. Enjoy! #Sweettea #TeaConcentrate #LuzianneTea #makeyourownconvenience

My mom fills a glass 4 cup Pyrex measuring cup with water and tea bags. Microwaves for 3-4 minutes. (Stir in sugar if it’s going to be sweet.) Let’s it steep a few hours and pour into a gallon ORANGE Tupperware pitcher and top with cold water. Now if it’s not the orange Tupperware pitcher, it may not work. She’s used the same pitcher for 45 years!

I’m over thinking what a great way to make up jars ahead of time so all you have to do is add water and stir. Great time saver. Geez, the comments…thank you for showing what works for you and I think I will try it because we go through a gallon a day. :)

this is a great idea to do if you are short on time. I think it might be really strong though, I use 3 bags for 1 gallon and if I make sun tea I use 4 for a gallon. ❤️great video

We all have our special way of making tea. Each way is an art. Thank you so much for sharing. Your way is so interesting. I used to have a process, too. Then I got the Ninja Duo and make iced tea or iced coffee by the cup fresh. I really like your way.

Mason jars are literally made for hot things. You’re doing too much.

Everybody in your comments telling you how to live your life is getting me. I think this is brilliant. We always run out of tea at functions. This is smart!

not a tea drinker but my lemonade game was elevated when I started making a simple syrup to sweeten the lemonade. not sure if it would work for tea. 😎

I never thought about jarring tea. Excellent idea. I wonder if it would work with lemonade

Everyone is different and have different ways of doing things—-cool for you—-we use to put the large tea bags in a ole gallon washed out pickle jar in the sun all day—-and make it in the evening—yes—sun tea—-try being a positive if not keep it to yourself—enjoy your tea !! —-🙏💜🐝

That's too much work. I make 2 gallons every day and use 1 electric kettle of water and takes about 10 minutes of participation from me. 😏

That is the most convoluted way to make sweet tea I have ever seen. Hot tip- canning jars are built to take boiling liquids- that is how people can

I just watched this entire video and I'm still confused, why are we canning tea? 😭 At first I thought she was going to show us how to make kombucha, but when she stopped at tea, I was just so confused. 😂
