All these self professed experts giving nonsensual advice. Why would I sell an already purchased property which I can simply pass onto the kids only to have the kids rebuy it with substantial costs in stamp duty and fees?

If we sell our properties after 1st July 2027 once new CGT rules are introduced & value of the property drop from the 1st July 2027 to the time we decide to sell them will will pay CTG under new laws ? Plan is to continue to pay down the debt while we are still working and the prediction is that property values may stagnant or even decline

Was splitting the sale of the two investment properties into separate FY’s the only advice? What else? Also how do you get that much into super as well as clean the tax component fully … the caps really restrict you

Thank you - this was a very helpful post. My husband and I also have 2 IPs which we plan to sell down for retirement (sadly 13 years away from being able to touch our super).
