"Grief is like glitter" no grief is like a man with a knife following you around all day every day. And sometimes he'll go a while without doing anything and you'll forget about the man with the knife. You'll even joke about the man with the knife because its been so long since he used it last that its kinda funny now. And then in the middle of work or the middle of dinner or when a certain song plays or when youre just trying to go to bed he'll stab you without warning and you have to keep going about your day like you dont have a knife impaled in the middle of your chest and people ask you why you havent just sent the knife guy away already and you tell them youre trying but he wont leave and they tell you that you've got more important things to worry about than the knife in your chest and you tell them you know that but it still really hurts to have this knife in you and people tell you the knife is like glitter and the knife is like an oceans tides and no it isnt its a fucking knife
