I think they kinda mischaracterized earth bending by making Aang succeed only when he’s provoked and got angry… like earth bending doesn’t equate to anger at all. Rather, it’s the opposite: the stability, patience and endurance…. Here, by doing this scene they make it seem like Aang can earth bend because he’s angry (mischaracterizing earth bending with fire bending)
