She is a completely different character from Reisen Udongein Inaba, although the two share the same name. The fandom nicknamed her "Reisen II" to avoid confusion.She first appears as a young moon rabbit who has fled from the Lunar Capital and escaped to Earth. Unlike the famous Reisen of Eientei, this Reisen is much less experienced and serves as an ordinary lunar rabbit caught up in events far bigger than herself.At the start of Silent Sinner in Blue, Reisen II escapes from the Moon and heads toward Gensokyo. During her journey she is injured by space debris and eventually ends up near the Hakurei Shrine. There, she is rescued by Reimu Hakurei. Unfortunately for her, Eirin Yagokoro discovers her presence. Since Reisen still has emotional ties to the Moon, Eirin convinces her to return carrying an important letter.After returning to the Lunar Capital, she faces punishment because fleeing the Moon is considered a crime. Instead of something harsher, she ends up becoming the pet and servant of the Watatsuki sisters. They then give her the name "Reisen" in honor of their previous rabbit, who was actually Reisen Udongein Inaba.That's why there are two Reisens.
