Satin is a fabric weave. Polyester is material. Silk is a material. Silk can be woven in a satin weave. Saying all satin is plastic is incorrect. That said, Blissy is awesome. And their bonnets are silk woven in satin weave ✨

fabric is categorized with 2 items, the fiber and the weave. you must have these 2 things to be a fabric. a fiber is: cotton, linen, silk polyester. a weave is twill, broadcloth, satin. you can have a cotton twill, a linen broadcloth a silk satin and ANY VARIATION OF ANY FIBER AND WEAVE COMBINATION. Satin isn't always made from polyester. Satin is a weave. it's the specific way the loom is set up to weave a fabric.

I just received this one and it doesn’t seem the same as my other one from Blissy that I got a year or so ago. This one had a weird synthetic smell and doesn’t feel like the same quality silk as my old one. I’m afraid to use this one because I’m questioning what it is made of.
