This is such a cool idea. I wonder if using a base layer of watercolor ground would make the paint stick easier to the aluminum foil. 🧐

wait this might be silly to say but would it not be easier to put paper mache back over the hot glue and make sure to press properly so the shapes are still visible and then paint? i feel like maybe it would make the painting soo much easier
