The national health care system in Greece is also good. But we have the privilege to go in private to a specialist doctor with very normal fees.

We got it the other week when my youngest was in hospital. I think it hit me worse than the kids. Wishing your little one a speedy recovery ❤️🥰

My sons just got over strep throat and sepsis, spent a week in hospital here. The speed and care was incomparable to what he’d of had in the UK! Hope you’re little guys feels better soon ❤️

Public healthcare was established back in 1981 from the socialist government. It was a breakthrough at the time. Greece has amazing doctors but sadly they leave Greece and work abroad thanks to the new “liberal” era .. so public hospitals remain with little resources but still provide top level care. Hope you never get the chance to experience it but it is far better then in UK (I’ve lived there yes) although I understand it’s hard to imagine since hospitals do not look nice … ugly I would say but the personnel is top tier
