sounds like a great idea.... I have a pack of dogs and sometimes I fall asleep on the ground with them and all curled up together and they love it and so do I it's so peaceful

Im 48 and still remember to this day when I had an nightmare at nights and went to my "parents" for comforting and all I wanted was to be able to sleep next to them. They send me up to my room straight away But fortunately I had an older brother that I was always welcome into and I could fall a sleep feeling safe. I know what my childhood has done with me and therefore I know You are doing the only right thing here and what it will do with your kid in the long term...So you and your partner shall be nothing but Very proud of your selfs 🙏💯🥰🫶

tribes in South America, Africa, Asia and even the inuits of Alaska all sleep in the same tent, hut, etc. she is correct. although I personally don't co-sleep. but i do understand the benefits!

Love this and totally agree! it worked beautifully for my son and me and when he felt ready he chose to have a room naturally and with his own self esteem firmly in tact he never had a nightmare and if he felt ill etc I knew straight away and could deal with it because you become so intune with their breathing pattern/movement etc also being low down was perfectly safe no worries and tons of space to sleep deeply xx thanks for reminding me how good it was! xxx

We coslept with both our kids. Our daughter couldn’t sleep on her own anytime we tried beyond a few months old. I have no problem with it but sometimes I’ll sleep elsewhere because sometimes they kick in their sleep etc.

We have 3 children and we all sleep in bedroom on Super king size matress on floor and double mattress on a floor beside. Similar set up as yours at the end.
