No longer paying for streaming services in 2026. I’m old enough to remember why we all cut cable. Used to be $5.99/mo for Netflix and $11.99/mo for Hulu. Now between Netflix, Hulu and paramount plus, I was spending close to $130. Absolutely not. We said enough is enough and refuse to waste all that money. Bright side is we have way more time on our hands to read.

After replacing four expensive refrigerators in 14 years in my kitchen, I make sure to buy the extended warranties on my fridge. I just got my third refrigerator replaced for the cost of the extended warranty - $249 and got a $3200 fridge. I agree on everything else.

Thank you for saying clothing! I have 3-4 outfits for work that I wear over and over. Every one in awhile, I feel self conscious because everyone around me is showing up in new outfits. I worry that they will judge me for seeing me in the same outfits, especially because I’m a woman.

And remote start on vehicles is now an app that you have to pay a subscription for after 2 years! I bought a base model vehicle and had after market remote start put in for a one time charge.

I remember going to a TGI Fridays years and years ago, it’s not even there anymore as a matter of fact, for breakfast with my son. They brought me orange juice with ice in it. I asked the server why, and she said that’s how we serve it. And I said I don’t want ice in my orange juice I just want a full glass of orange juice, because when I took the ice out of the glass it was barely half full. She said she couldn’t and I said that’s fine but take it back I’m not paying for it. And it was that moment that I stopped ordering any drink at a restaurant other than water. Although I barely eat out anymore anyway but… Give me a break.

I agree except for the clothes. As a woman in outside sales in hot ass Florida.. I need clothes. But I love TJ Maxx and Marshall’s for that. Walking in and paying full price for clothing is insane. It all comes from the same manufacturers

I worked for an appliance company for many years and the technicians always told me anything that uses water get the extended warranty. on your dishwashers and fridges, ice makers breakdown all the time.

I agree with you on almost everything, I don't by extended warranties on anything but I will forever in a day buy it on a vehicle. I spent $3,500 on an extended warranty and used over $7,000 worth of work that needed to be done. especially if you buy a vehicle that has the first generation of that engine that transmission etc.
