The reason for this is that they are using averages, from daft. All it takes is one multi million euro priced house NOT to be in the next quarter’s survey to drop by 1%

No reason is recession. People doesn’t have any money. Look at businesses in country many close doors. Prices just unaffordable any more.

Hold tight… Dublin has a bit to drop still… supply is increasing and interest rates are rising… two ingredients for falling house prices… look at London now… house prices are dropping there because of world economics… so there’s also that… now is not necessarily the “best time”

There’s a silent slow down happening the last while people just can’t keep up with the basics in cost of living etc, same thing happened in 2007/2008 everything has a limit ur average couple can’t afford a €600 grand house
