That’s an extremely dangerous situation and if it was reported to the police and the police did nothing about it until the media brought public attention then yes, the police should be blamed for it and it should be made public that the police only reacted when they were put in the spotlight. We don’t hire police to only react to sensational situations but to react to all situations that require police intervention
