It was the first 24 hours without her and I feel like half of me is missing. I hoped it was all just a dream, but when I woke up she wasn't near me. She wasn't there when I left the room and she didn't greet me. Everything reminded me of her all day. When I was sitting on the couch, she wasn't on my lap. When I looked at her bed, she wasn't there, but I had the impression that I saw her there. When I went to bed, she wasn't waiting for me at the door, half asleep and ready to sleep. Everything seems empty without her. All day I had the impression that I was about to see her or hear the sound of her paws against the floor. I don't know what to do with myself and how to live without her. I had her since I was 6 and she was my whole life.
