the huda green powder was a godsend for me because there are very few green powders on the western market and it was exactly what I needed for the days I just wear sunscreen and setting powder. I hope she never discontinues it

It kind of ignorant to say something doesn’t work as a whole just because people who don’t need it are using it. People who suffer from redness love the green powder. Let’s not stigmatize a unique makeup product just cus some people don’t like it…

Blue-tinted lip balms are supposed to make your teeth appear whiter. Don’t know if it does anything though. The new Double Wear formula has niacinamide in it which is a skincare ingredient a lot of people (often those with acne-prone and/or sensitive skin) are allergic/reactive to. Putting active ingredients into makeup is so unnecessary imo

i disagree on the huda beauty green powder. i was SO EXCITED when i saw it because i struggle so much with redness and it makes me so self conscious. i am also really oily and i feel like it will help out a lot on days where i don't feel like doing a full face of makeup but it can help with my redness. i feel like there isn't a whole lot available for people struggling with redness, so i was so happy to see something that could actually help me and make me feel better about myself

I agree with most of this apart from the blue lip balms which are just fun and great for alt folks, and ESPECIALLY the green powder!!! I love having a diversity of green products for my red skin and this powder is perfect! It was created with a purpose and it serves it.

the hate for the new double wear formula is soooo unjustified, this is how it lasted on my oily skin through last week’s 38°c heatwave. this is after 8 hours of being outdoors and indoors in places without ac, so i was obv sweating like crazy. on days with normal temperatures i can easily wear this for 16 hours and it will still look good.

Hard agree on the Estée Lauder Doublewear. I bought it for my wedding makeup based on the reputation, but unfortunately I bought the new version. I got SO oily at the end of the day, and it oxidized so badly my face was literally yellow by the time I got home. Thankfully I had enough time to find a different foundation, but it was still such a bummer.

I’m sorry… I was gone while the whole transition blush drama but the fact that we are ignoring that Kevyn aucoin was doing similar blush shaders to do “transition” into the eyelid area in the 90’s and acting like it this novel idea makes me feel old
