Soinkne (pronounced Sunny) :
Passengers (2016) is a sci-fi romance about two people stranded aboard a starship bound for a distant colony. Jim Preston, a mechanical engineer, is accidentally awakened from cryogenic sleep 90 years too early, leaving him with no way to survive until the ship reaches its destination. After a year of complete isolation, he makes the morally devastating decision to wake another passenger, writer Aurora Lane, and lies that her pod malfunctioned as well. Jim and Aurora fall in love, but their relationship is destroyed when Aurora discovers that Jim deliberately woke her, condemning her to spend the rest of her life on the ship. As the starship begins suffering catastrophic failures caused by an earlier asteroid collision, the two must put aside their anger and work together to save everyone aboard. With help from an awakened crew member, they repair the failing reactor, and Jim nearly dies in the process before Aurora saves him. In the end, Aurora forgives Jim. Rather than waking more passengers, the couple chooses to build a life together aboard the ship. Decades later, when the remaining passengers finally arrive at the colony world, they awaken to find the once-sterile vessel transformed into a thriving garden—a testament to the life Jim and Aurora created together.
