Nishiki is the best character ever. RGG created Nishiki and then decided to make an entire game series around him. He's the main character of the games, actually, everyone else is only there to be support characters

kiwami 1 was technically my first yakuza, but I didn't like playing it at that time due to how I thought it was slow paced. Then I went back to yakuza 0 and gave it a thorough chance. the fucking whiplash i felt after completing it then finding out nishki did in kiwami 1
