There is literally no reason to be against the ai disclosure unless you know that people want to avoid ai and you intend to hide your ai use from them. If people are positive or neutral towards ai, then the disclosure will have no effect on them. Good on Valve for holding strong on this

I made a divisive post on the steam reddit page begging valve to let us filter ai slop. The comments are filled with people down voting comments talking bad about ai, but the main post stays in the positive.

If the people actually wanted AI slop in games we wouldn’t have been so angry about Expedition 33 being outed for it. We would be asking for AI games if we wanted it, but we the consumer do not.

if generative AI is used in your product, it doesn't make a game developer struggle to succeed. That's because if you make a game with significant generative ai then you're not a game developer

I'm making a massive multiplayer game all by myself. So of course, most of it, I'm making myself, but I'm getting help from AI. Why the hell wouldn't I I'm trying to make and publish an advertise a game with a budget of five thousand dollars. don't fault me cause some of the graphics are from AI. 😐

yes people should be honest about using Ai because hiding it is dumb. Also Ai is supposed to be a tool but there are many developers who use it as a crutch instead of using it as a tool as you're supposed to
