@blueacregarden: Are your Annabelle hydrangeas flopping over instead of standing tall? For smooth hydrangeas, rain and heavy wind can cause major plant flopping because of their big full flowers. To fix it, you have to go out and shake the flowers out! #HydrangeaCare #annabellehydrangea #smoothhydrangea #gardeningtiktokcontest #GardenTips
I have two quick fab fire hydrangea, a mini and a standard plant. The standard plant is about 5 years old. Both are growing through the center of a tomato basket. When the branches start to droop beyond the tomato basket, I simply support them by putting plastic garden fencing that are about a foot tall around the base of the plant. It help it quite a bit.

My Annabelle’s come in, but they’re kind of a smaller head. Is there a miniature version or is there something I should do to make them larger?

I just planted these this spring in May, they’re so heavy but rained days ago and they’re dry now, I think it’s just the heavy blooms on a new plant? What do you think

My Annabelle’s get sun from 11am-3pm … they are definitely hating it but I also split a large plant to put them there. Do you think they’ll survive?

I would love to know what lighting conditions these Annabelle’s prefer. I have a large wooded lot and dream of planting these along my woodland edge where the sun peeks through gently. But I worry it may not get ENOUGH sun. I live in central NC zone 8A. Thank you for taking the time to respond! Also, if there is something else you recommend I’m listing! I have limelight’s, dlowerful, and blush incredibal but I believe they need much more sun.

Can you help me out with a lilac tree? I don’t know what I’m doing wrong with it. It looks healthy. It’s been there for eight years probably but the leaves always look not healthy and it barely blooms.
