@bobbyv_88: WE’VE ONLY GONE AND WON IT!!! 🥹 This was probably the hardest and most painful race I have ever driven in my life. Quali I managed to stick it on pole by 2 tenths and from the start we kept the lead for 40 laps until ofc the rain had to come down, cause its Britain ffs, and that caused me to make an very early pitstop to change drivers. From there we were a lap down and in third so going into my second stint I knew we had to try and uncap ourselves, and not only did we unlap ourselves we also managed to catch the leaders up again after unlapping ourselves retake the lead of the race!!! 🥹 After we both led the remainder of the 12hrs (900 bloody laps), but near to the end I had to pull out with an 1hr to go due to rib injury and hand injury’s. I suffered major bruises to both my ribs and my legs, and blisters to my palms and all my fingers. Was it worth it yes, am I on the verge of passing out, also yes. But what a weekend, and omfg I still cant believe we managed to win the it with only TWO drivers and doing it on our first ever endurance race.
