I think an EV works well if you have 2 cars in your household. One ice car for travelling distances and an EV for a 40 min commute to work, shops and back home to charge overnight. If you’re travelling to “ranches” and the “outback” then EV is a bad use case for you.

It literally tells you what the battery level is the entire time you are driving. This isn’t a Tesla problem this is a poor planning problem. The trip planner will tell you when you need to charge.

Ok guys - this is the story of events. We drove to the first charger tesla recommended which was meant to give us enough charge to get to a super charger - that plug didn’t work and wasn’t compatible for Tesla. We then drove to another place it recommended and it wasn’t compatible again (even though recommended) lucky we had a cord in the back and plugged it into a faster electricity point which gave us enough charge to get to a tesla super charger! I love the tesla self drive and electric cars but when shit like this happens it gets you nervous haha

There’s no time in my life even if I could afford one will never buy an electric vehicle. The making of them is so dangerous and the workers are underpaid and there is no safe disposal of them

I rented a Polstar 2 daul drive and what a piece garbage it would show cold weather warnings it wouldn't charge to full capacity in the cold weather I thought it was a lemon so I went back to hertz and swapped it and had even more problems with the second one, then I got a 3rd one it was no better, and the charging drove me insane. the quality build for $100,000 car was disgraceful my lexus is 1000% better and cheaper to run.🤔😁

it's not so much the range anxiety, it's more charging stations reliability anxiety. Apart from Tesla, Australia is really bad

No this is just bad planning. The car tells you were the chargers are and plans your trip to account for charging 😒
