Also daylight time. Not all Americans know we have sun light from 4:30am to 10:30pm. Nighttime brings no cooling, even if the temperature drops by a few degrees, the asphalt, pavement, stone, brick, roofs, etc give off heat and never have time time to cool down. Most homes don’t have AC. Which brings us to another thing Americans can’t comprehend… the EU (don’t know about England) has strict regulations about where, who and how AC can be installed. Often it’s not allowed at all. We are in CONSTANT unbearable heat with no breaks (because even McDonalds has no ac where I am)

what is he on about? literally two people of the same weight don't look the same. 1 kg of rice and 1 kg of feathers don't look the same.i lived in France, Portugal and the UK and 25 degrees in each country feel different. cool in Portugal, ideal temp in France and hot AF in London.

Humidity is high here in UK because we live on a small island surrounded by water and winds blow moist air across the country so we don’t get ‘dry’ air

I’m originally from Belgium but I lived for a long time in southern Spain. 36°C in Spain I could handle perfectly. 36°C in Belgium however is unbearable for me, I can’t breathe, I feel very tired, uncomfortable… definitely not the same. Thank you so much for pointing that out.

I live in Dubai and I am in London during the heatwave 100% it's different and worse than 50c in Dubai. The buildings in UK are built to keep heat inside the opposite to GCC countries where our houses are all tiles and made to keep heat out.

Yeah, is not only the cifer, you have to count the humidity too! I'm spanish and 36 degreea is terrible in my city, but when I was in the Netherlands with the same 36 degrees I coul not even breathe, the humidity was unbelievavle 😨😨😨
