The owner is usually worse…. You missed the incompetent PQS who writes worse contracts for the main contractor to sign ✍️and still sits there advising that 3% profit and all the risk transferred to the main contractor is acceptable. Whilst they ignore large construction companies going bust 😅

It’s the main contractor that wants the steady work so they just sign the contract then when they’ve made an arse of it they try and unload there crap onto the subbie if the subbie is hard and clued up they run rings round the main contractor then half or most of the site team regularly for the main contractor get fired at the end of the job as they were woeful and he subbie gets black listed with that main contractor for sticking up for themselves……. That’s what happens !
