Recipe below 👇 Save it so you don’t lose it! 🍅 Tomato Onion Fried Rice Recipe (Street Style) Start with boiled rice.
Add: * 1 tsp Kashmiri red chilli powder * 1 tsp turmeric (Haldi) * Salt (as needed) * Chopped coriander leaves * A little oil Mix everything well and keep aside. In a hot kadhai, add oil.
Add: * Cumin seeds (Jeera) * Mustard seeds (Rai) * Curry leaves (Kadi Patta) * Red & green chillies Sauté for a few seconds. Add sliced onions and fry until translucent. Now add chopped tomatoes and cook until soft. Add: * 1 tsp Kashmiri red chilli powder * 1 tsp turmeric * 1 tsp coriander powder * Salt to taste (careful, rice already has salt) * 1 tsp sugar (to balance heat) Mix well and cook until masala becomes slightly thick. Optional: squeeze some lime for extra tang 🍋 Now add the seasoned rice.
Mix gently but thoroughly so everything combines well. Fry for 2–3 minutes on medium heat. 🔥 Serve hot and enjoy your Tomato Onion Fried Rice!
