@bailey.bros0: Today we are removing the old lattice around the porch! As we started opening everything up, it got us thinking about what the final version should look like. Do we bring the screened porch back to life, or open it up and add a railing instead? The goal is to improve the curb appeal while keeping the character of the house intact. What would you do? #curbappeal #houserenovation #rentalproperty #realestateinvestor #BRRR
Keep it screened in but make the woodwork more decorative.

Open it up!!! I think it’d look so good in the end and make the house overall just feel more open and breathable!!

Plant mint and citronella and lemongrass and things that deter bugs but open it up!

It is already looking a million times better! My instinct it to open it up, but I live somewhere that screened in porches aren’t a thing. Is the benefit of screening the porch connected to bugs?

100% screen in the porch otherwise it’s unusable during the summer. 100% zero bugs. 100% no lattice. 😎

It’s South Carolina, the porch is much more useable with screens. The mosquitos are awful down here

You gotta do something with the wood work either way because it doesn’t look great. But I understand the screens for bugs…. I’m very torn. Like the screens themselves.

Keep the screen! It will make being outside a more comfortable, usable space. I'd love to have that porch!!!

I live in Tallahassee so bugs are bad here. Just to sit outside without slapping and scratching insects would be so nice😳😊

@Jeanette’s Sweet Dreams 🧁 🌸: Depends on if there are a lot of bugs and insects in the area especially during the Spring/Summer. If so, screen it.
