For those that think it makes zero sense…it’s a fitted sheet and everything else drying will get all wrapped up inside making it ball up and doesn’t dry well.

Either one of two things will happen: the heat will dry out the elastic, thus breaking it, or if the elastic does survive the whole drying process, the part that is compressed with the elastic will still be wet.

Anything on the inside of the sheets is going to stay inside the sheets and not get washed out. I tried this when people were saying fold your blankets. No. We have dogs and when I took those blankets out to put them in the drying all the crap came out and it was gross lol
