@ashulynxx: it was for the best ash it’s ok 💔💔 if shorter would’ve survived, he would’ve been miserable and not even himself. I can’t imagine the guilt ash carried around knowing he had to 💀 his best friend. #bananafish #ashlynx #eijiokumura #shorterwong #anime foryoupage foryou fyp manga animefyp asheiji bananafishedit bananafishtiktok bananafishcosplay

I’ve always looked at it as him picking both. He kept eiji alive and also made it so shorter wouldn’t have to go through so much pain and go insane from banana fish

Ი︵𐑼 :

Can we all collectively move on from this show pls? I can’t afford a therapist

AcidUrLalabs :

Ash probably knew that there's no turning back or cure when you get injected or hit with Banana Fish and he knew that Eiji still has so much to live for. So, he actually did what Shorter asked him to; he saved his best friend.

He saved Shorter, he wouldn't be able to live normally after being a user of the Banana Fish tho, that's a sad fact

Mori🌺 :

He didn’t have to choose between them it was loose both friends or save one. Either way it’s still heartbreaking 🥲
