Alright, Riley. Thank you for the question. First off, Prayer is of diverse kinds. Two of them, being the popular Communication kind, and that of the Prayer of Request. Those are the kinds we are used to knowing (especially the second one). But that actually isn't all there is to Prayer.. (Part 1)

So, no it is not faster nor is it slower it is simply a posture of prayer. There are multiple postures and neither have advantages over the other per say. But depending on what you want, the move of the spirit and sometimes how you personally feel you'll take on a different posture. Of course and your level of maturity in the word and Christ and your personal walk with God An example, imagine a mother who lost her child praying because of the hurt she feels, crying and screaming through her prayer makes sense, right? Another, in 1st Corinthians Paul mentions that sometimes in prayer people will make utterances that cannot be understood but they are speaking mysteries in the spirit. I know you don't buy into the spiritual but it does serve as a basis for why some of us pray like this. Another scripture mentions how we do not know what to pray for and so the holy Spirit intercedes for us through groanings that cannot be uttered.. I will drop the specific verses at the end... And lastly at times it is just excitement that causes this prayer posture or immaturity. Thinking that the more erratically you pray the better. Praying calmly, silently, through worship and at times even without words are all prayer and neither is above the other. Just that different situations will result in different postures. I hope I have made sense. I love your videos and I pray that you keep up the good work The verses are 1st Corinthians 14:2 and Romans 8:26. More such verses can be found in Romans as well. Allow them, they'll grow, where it gets ugly is when they remain in this level of understanding, there's a level of prayer where you don't even speak words anymore, but your heart is align with the expectations of the Creator and things just starts to happen as expected, but how will you even understand this when you stop at this level of understanding, that prayer is talking to something outside of you.
