I’m sick and tired of people not willing to work. I started with a paper round at the age of 11 and 46 years later still going strong. I love working

I do work but I hate it, I’m working to survive and not live. I don’t get to take my 3 kids on holiday as while I’m the only one who works while my wife is disabled it’s just so unaffordable. They need to sort out wages and other things, some jobs don’t offer good money for you to be able to have a car and necessities.

It's not out of work benefits if someone is topping up their income. There's a lot of zero hour contracts where people are forced to top up.

How can it be “out of work benefits” if they are in work! Gov needs to provide proper stats!

Yet, being self employed for over 40 years, a major op 10 years ago..3 months off work to recover and zero benefit help..absolutely nothing..I still had mortgage, bills etc to pay it stressed me more..than the op itself.

When the government make benefits more worthy than going to work is it any wonder. Hence why the IMF have advised the uk they are heading the direction of going bankrupt.

Most young people want to work but there are no jobs. Warehouse and care jobs are probably only work left for low skilled and those jobs are not easy for middle age types. Create the right jobs and then you can judge people

But does that include people who are claiming asylum? Many younger people are already struggling to find work. I’ve seen countless videos from young people talking about how distressed they are because they can’t find employment.
I also don’t think it’s fair to make assumptions about anxiety and depression. I see what my own mum goes through with her mental health, and it’s genuinely heartbreaking. These conditions affect people in very different ways, and we shouldn’t dismiss them.
