Look at it spin. Then, close your eyes, flip your phone so its upside down, then open your eyes, look at it spin, and then rotate your phone again so that its back upright, this time keeping your eyes open and on the chair. Now you’ll see it spin the other way

Just use the top-view and bottom-view method. If you look from the bottom view, the chair will spin to the left, but if you look from the top view, the chair will spin to the right.

I can shift it but the model is clearly made to spin counter clockwise based on overlapping layers existing in areas that only cooperate with that specific rotation
