People don’t realize that the US government continuously lied during this war. It all falls back on the government. A good chunk of the men drafted did NOT want to go, my uncle didn’t. And he told me to my face that they were told it wouldn’t be hard, and just a small thing. We never should have been involved, and we CONTINUE to be involved in wars that do not concern us.
