unfortunately one person (or even a hundred people) does not stand as a representative of the entire autistic community. a person who has not been affected by said slur is likely a person of privilege and therefore has no basis or right to grant you permission to use it. a slur is a slur and it came to be that way through hundreds of years of systemic and social oppression; you have no right to say a slur, let alone defend yourself from backlash.
