@myco_motion: Shiitake mushroom cloud 🤯 I recently captured 7 new shiitake timelapses using 3 different cameras and lenses. These are my 4 favorites. Many don’t realize how long a project like this can take. I inoculated these logs many years ago, and since then they’ve given me the chance to experiment with different angles and setups. Each sequence took between 3–5 days to complete, with more than 3,000 images captured in total. That alone is kind of mind-blowing. I love cooking with shiitake, and I also love making these timelapses, so this is a huge win-win for me. The underside is especially mesmerizing to photograph.
