the science behind this is due to damage or constant brushing before so the curl loses its pattern. Once you take care of it and do the scrunching motion for months the curl reshapes and also gets healthier. You cannot force curly hair if you dont have any. What you see here is already curly but damaged hair that regained its natural shape

i don't think curl training works. They either got a new routine, have a new air environment or if its not any of those, they just grew back way more curlier because of hormones. (all of these are facts)
