@fitness4116: If you’re thinking, “I want to start going to the gym 4 times a week… but I have no idea what to do when I get there,” this is for you. 👇 One of the biggest mistakes beginners make is trying to do everything at once. You don’t need complicated workouts, 20 different exercises, or hours in the gym. You just need a simple plan that you can stick to consistently. ✨ Beginner 4-Day Gym Split: Day 1 – Lower Body (Quad Focus) • Goblet Squats • Leg Press • Stationary Lunges • Leg Extensions Day 2 – Upper Body + Core • Lat Pulldowns • Seated Rows • Face Pulls • Bicep Curls * Core work & cardio Day 3 – Lower Body (Glute Focus) • Hip Thrusts • Romanian Deadlifts • Abduction Machine • Cable Kickbacks Day 4 – Upper Body + Core • Chest Press • Shoulder Press • Chest Flys • Tricep Pushdowns * Core work & cardio A few beginner tips: ✅ Focus on learning proper form first ✅ Start with weights that feel manageable ✅ Leave 1-2 reps “in the tank” on each set ✅ Prioritize consistency over intensity ✅ Don’t skip warm-ups or recovery days Remember: you do not need the perfect program. You need a program you can follow week after week. Six months of consistency will change your body more than six weeks of perfection ever will. 💜 📲 Workit App gives you personalized workout plans, exercise tutorials, progress tracking, nutrition guidance, and everything you need to confidently start your fitness journey. #GymBeginner #BeginnerWorkout #GymMotivation #WorkoutPlan #FitnessJourney

This is a good weekly split, however, for total beginners, I would recommend: Upper Body > Rest Day > Lower Body > Rest Day > Full Body > Cardio (elliptical, incline walk, stairmaster, about 20-30 mins) > Cardio or Active Rest day (go for a long walk or Yoga) or Complete rest and recovery cause let’s be real, no one is gonna set discipline within a week, you’re bound to feel tired, sore, and exhausted at times as compared to other experienced people…..also if you’re uncomfortable of using machines at first, you can do dumbbell exercises and focus on form rather than the weight you’re lifting….also please don’t overtrain your core and most of your muscles need about 48 hrs of rest to recover …..key is to train sustainably and not overtrain 🫶🏻🫶🏻🫶🏻
