This is where because only Jean and storm plus magik so far can survive without the xgene. Jean because she’s the pheonix. Storm because she’s a witch and divinity doesn’t rely on mutant genes even when power was taken she used magic. Magik because she’s has magic even moonstar. Legion powers are mutant base. Iceman powers are mutant base

Also side note. When the x-gene powers or mutation is taken away it isn’t just gone. The energy is sent somewhere else in the universe. Like with vulcan. Vulcan technically also wasn’t affected by the chaos wave & neither was Darwin. In fact the energy of the mutants powers accumulated by the no more mutant spell went to Vulcan and that’s how he woke up. It went to darwin as well because ge was fused with vulcan at the time & The rest of it went to the collective and when they were defeated the residual energy was dispersed into the sun. This is why I don’t hype up the no more mutants feat because the spell was never a good one & when u look at how much the spell failed at it shouldn’t be talked about that much

There is a decent amount of genetic manipulation that happens psionically, so with that stipulation, high tier telepaths like jean, Emma etc, would be able to resist it that way. In fact Emma has defended herself telepathically from genetic manipulation before.

well it's because of there power, like it has a specific ability thay can bypass it like, forgot this mutant name, he can control dna, and he was one of the few who survived scarlet witch chaos erasure, now he didn't overpower it, but bypass it, if im correct leech alos survived it too, and his power cant be turned off
