My friend died this summer and somehow i don’t feel sad but since that happend i feel so much empty and every time when im remembering all the nice time w him im feeling like im falling into void the more i think about it the more empty i am and i don’t know what to do

1. his name was gavin and we were in 8th grade. both of my stories happened within a year or two. there was a school shooter and before that we were both in the bathroom not in the same class. we heard shots and didn't think it was anything cuz it didnt sound like it. we both went out and his back was turned and he turned to us. he shot me in the hand after he aimed at him. we ran but we accidentally split up. i didn't know if he was chasing me but found officers who lead me outside. i told them i didnt want to go and had to find gavin. they found the shooter and took him and i went to find gavin. there were 2 students i found injured. there was another body i found. it was gavin. i turned hik over and he had a large wound on his stomach. i was screaming for help, but it was too late. he died right in front of me. i still blame myself to this day and helped out his family until i moved because i couldn't even go there anymore without sobbing. 2. i played basketball with this kid in my new school. he was a year younger than me and his name was sam. my mom saw him at one of our summer league games and thought he was so cute idk y. he was tiny but really good. we were behind a bunch of older kids. so we were on jv. we were the best on jv and we lead in scoring. we started getting closer and hung out so much, just like me and gavin. we went to target just to walk around and check out with snacks until 4 men in all black looked like they were gonna rob the place. we were tryna look for a way out. we eventually ran to the other side of the store and found an employee exit. we went out, but there were already ppl guarding the exit. im assuming they were guarding every exit. we ran and they followed us. we were running in between and behind buildings. sam was recovering from a calf injury and wasn't the fastest. they caught up to him and stabbed him. he told me to run. so i did. i did nothing to help him. i just ran. i regret it. and i regret not helping gavin. i was depressed. i couldn't and wouldn't try to make another friend. i eventually got to the point where i attempted to commit suicide from both of their deaths. check my reply for the rest
