Respectfully… I disagree, Mr. Jacob. A lot of us were just there. We loved hard, stayed loyal, and showed up consistently. It still ended with us feeling used, discarded, or replaced. Being present isn’t always the problem. Sometimes it’s being present for someone who never intended to value it.

my husband and i were best friends and just hung out for while then it evolved, I can remember having only 2 pennies to rub together we have built this crazy life together raising 2 chaps of our own and another 4 all grown, it has been hard but we got through it!! 30 years in not giving up on each other and accept each other's faults!

I don’t know about all men but I do know this to be true. My best guy friend of 30 years is very much this way. We go for long periods of times living our lives and not talking but he always reminds me how much he appreciates our friendship. 💙
