@peterdanyliv: Too many underprivilged hoopers can’t afford AAU these days🚫🏀 Huge respect to @Way of Wade for the new DLO 2 team shoes🙏🏻👟

I'm in year 6 of building our teams. Every season I hustle sponsorships to make sure these kids have the opportunity to play. We charge around $500 for the year, which usually covers six tournaments. Whatever we don't raise through sponsorships, I cover out of my own pocket. I'm not doing this to make money I'm doing it because every kid deserves a chance to compete, grow, and create memories they'll carry with them for the rest of their lives. That's what it's always been about for me.

Played for a squad just like this for my first AAU team in 8th grade. We could afford to play for the “upper tier” teams, but I wanted to play with my boy that I’d been playing with since elementary school. My pops bought the squad our team shoes and covered all the travel costs for me and my boy and donated to help the rest of the squad out. Still the best and most fun summer of basketball I ever had. And we cooked some of the better squads.

This is what My daughter's travel team is all about, Coach takes care of all of his kids 🙌🏽 We do fundraisers, car washes, accept donations, and always looking for Sponsors. BUSA is an Amazing program ❤️💪🏽🏀
