I remember rebuilding a ford v6 when I was about 16 and I was so proud of myself I had just put the intake and valve covers on and my mentor was congratulating me. Until he noticed I put gasket sealer on the head gaskets…. He told me to use it on all gaskets but forgot to mention head gaskets are the exception.

I had to take the cylinder head off like 5 times when rebuilding my bike and I had the put the piston rings on like 3 times and then a lock nut fell into the motor after 1 hour and I had to rebuild it again
