Can’t remember where from,but I was told that 25years ago. I’m late 40s now, fit and healthy (unbelievably fit and healthy for my age , which I own to my personal trainer of 8years- yes, it cost more than mew fancy car finance), own nothing, but I’ve my wife/ best friend, out smart , grown daughter and hobby I turned in to well paying career. I’m working part time, driving old convertible and few other older cars, I’m renting. Yes, no own property of any sort, rents are quarter of my income and I’ve no ties. At any given moment I can get up, turn around and walk away from my current life and I know my wife will follow me. Our current savings would cover 1years of life if we wanted to go travel the world. And my career is in globally present industry , so I will find job anywhere, anytime. I’m genuinely happy and I know now, advice I got was worth commitment.
