I wonder how much of it is the psychology of the apps themselves. When there are endless profiles and very little accountability, people can treat each other as disposable because there’s almost no social consequence. I’m curious! If you could redesign dating apps from scratch, what would be the first thing you’d change?

They don’t work for me bc most of the time when some one comes up to you in person you can quickly assess if you are attracted to them or not. Dating apps is hit or miss.

Sounds like a people issue, not an app issue. I met my fiancé on a marriage app. He's older than me and we're both experienced and mature enough to recognize those types of people you speak of.

I tried a dating app and it didn't go anywhere then I met someone in real life. after a break up a couple years later I tried the app again, and it was the same people matching with, and them making little effort
