@build_enjoyer: 🤫 Building a Secret Underground Container Retreat by the Ocean In this video, I show how I turned an ordinary hole in the ground into a modern underground container home with a view of a tropical island. First, I dug a deep rectangular hole right on the ocean shore. Then I lowered a new blue shipping container with a round hatch into it and completely covered it, leaving only the hatch cover exposed above ground. Once inside, I insulated the container’s walls, ceiling, and floor, then installed a wooden frame and filled the interior with polystyrene. Next, I added modern finishes: I laid a wooden floor, installed decorative wall and ceiling panels with LED lighting, and designed the interior in a stylish, contemporary look. To finish, I added a plush sofa, two armchairs, a coffee table with fruit and tea, a TV, and decorative accents, transforming an ordinary shipping container into a cozy underground retreat with a stunning view of a tropical island.
