My daughter and I dined at this beautiful restaurant called the Flying Fishbone. It is a popular seafood restaurant in Savaneta, Aruba, famous for its unique waterfront dining experience with tables set in the sand or shallow water, offering stunning sunset views and a romantic atmosphere. It serves a mix of European and Caribbean cuisine, with an emphasis on fresh seafood, and is known for its memorable ambiance, though some find it pricey. Reservations are highly recommended, especially for sunset, and guests should wear shoes that are easy to remove. Key Features Ambiance: Romantic, upscale, with tables directly on the beach or in the water, providing beautiful sunset and starry night views. Cuisine: European and Caribbean fusion, focusing on fresh seafood, with options for vegetarian and gluten-free diets. Highlights: Fresh seafood, creative appetizers, good wine list, and desserts. Experience: Guests can dine with their feet in the water, making it ideal for special occasions. Recommendations: Book in advance for sunset, wear easy-to-remove shoes (like sandals or flip-flops), and be prepared for a potentially higher price point. I had what was called the unicorn fish, and my daughter had beef tenderloin skewers. We did not sit with our feet in the water, but I wish we would have! Funny enough, there was a woman who was seated in the water and she did not under any circumstances want her feet to be in the water so they did bring her a stool to set her feet up upon. It was really cool how they headlights out in the crystal blue water so even at night you could enjoy the clear blue water. Aruba is a lovely island, and I like all of the different beaches. Each one has something a little different, for example, one beach we went strictly to swim with the turtles, another we went to body surf, others we went and to snorkel. some beaches had built-in free cabanas, some didn’t. More to come if you’re interested. #Aruba #flyingfishbone #Foodie #travel #experience
