Still doesn't explain how Sweden plays France. By the numbers, Sweden was the best 3rd place team and they should've gone up against the US which is the worst 1st place team they could play. But they now end up playing the best 1st place team and will lose where they probably could've upset the US

Until u realize that which top of the group faces wich 3rd place, and its purely based on ur luck of the draw. Fifa should solve this by ranking the teams after the group stage, top 32 team passes to the KOs rounds, 1vs32 2vs31 and so on, this way it will be more than fair for everyone

Cape Verde had a 1% chance (they themselves sang it when their match ended) but Uruguay and Spain (which FIFA thought was passing first and second) did not have good matches and for some reason that ends up being Messi's fault. I am from Argentina and nobody is underestimating Cape Verde here because the reality is that NOBODY WIN'T THEM. You must never underestimate the rival.
