READ CAPTION. I have Dysautonomia (VVS & POTS) which causes me to faint from both low blood pressure & tachycardia. I’ve been really struggling for the past 5 days- pretty much non-stop fainting, with cluster faints. I’m making an appointment to discuss this with the doctor & potentially upping my medication. I was filming (attempting) a vlog of today & also was hoping to catch how the dogs would react; I knew I would have a faint, due to the previous days, & husband was out at work. The dogs have become a lot more attentive & involved when I am in both pre syncope, unconscious & in post-syncope. My husband has told me that Cooper will tend to lie with me, not move, often getting in the way actually😅 Margot whines, paws at me & looks to my husband a lot. So, I was hoping I would be able to capture and experience this, sadly they had other plans today haha😂 I do believe that Cooper sensed either my HR spike, or my BP drop, as he came in the room without me calling & had been asleep. Both sat with me & whined until I lost consciousness-Cooper sniffed me & whined a bit more, clearly the sofa was calling! I also have convulsive syncope where I lack oxygen- you can tell at the end of the video with the blue tinge to my lips. I came around & called Cooper back with tapping the floor, as I could feel another coming & I wanted comfort. This is edited, the faints were longer & he did lie with me for longer this time. I needed salt: had to resort to using the grinder on the countertop 🙃 When I tried to carry on making lunch (girl was hungry & needed salt ASAP), again I went very lightheaded & vision was going again. This is also why the camera angle is different, as I had already repositioned & in case of another, which was likely with me standing to make lunch, I wanted to properly be able to see Margot. She lay with me at first, but I also think she sometimes gets nervous about my convulsions & usually my husband or Cooper are there for her reassurance and so she joined Cooper again. I am still super proud of both of them & rely on them a lot, not just for the warnings, but also the comfort. I hope I am able to capture how they react when my husband is here, so you can witness how truly incredible, smart and loyal they are 🤍 #dysautonomia #dysautonomiaawareness #posturalorthostatictachycardiasyndrome #vasovagalsyncope #faint
