I told my children “I love you. Have sweet dreams!” every night. After they left home, I still said it if they were visiting. Not too long ago, I was talking to one of them at night. Still said I love you. Sweet dreams. I hope they smile like I do about it. ❤️

When My daughter and son in-law put their boys to bed at night, once in bed they each say 5 good things that happened during their day. When I’m watching them and I put them to bed one of their 5 good things is always”Nana came over to be with us” I always get a tear in my eye, knowing how blessed I am❤️

My daughter is only 2, so we are currently building these into routine. But my nephews are 15 and 9 and no matter how old they get, when we part, I say "see you later alligator" and they NEVER HESITATE with their "after while crocodile". It warms my heart and as they grow into young men I hope they carry their crazy redhead Aunt and her silly isms with them. I hope they always remember to find room to be a little silly and not take life too seriously. 🥰

I started a hugs and kisses before bed. One simple gesture became a daily thing. My daughter now 3 won't sleep without my hugs and kisses. Before I got to work I wake her up to get ready for her daycare. The hugs and kisses continued and now it'd a daily thing. oh I was looking for your, we do dream about to each other every night. my Little miss we do a few things that we remember for the day. she repeats and gets excited. I definitely do just us days as they are my donor babies. especially when we need my mum or to help her or tasks get in the way.
