I’m in Rome rn and as someone born and raised in Florida, this heat is like NOTHING I’ve experienced in Florida. I’ve never been this uncomfortably hot in my life and nearly passed out today.

104 is hot, use an umbrella ☂️. When I lived in Okinawa and it got to 120 They used umbrellas. It was affordable and simple protection/shade.

Im actually so baffled. Ive experienced 100 degree temps in florida and Im used to it because of the air conditioning. I thought the aspect of AC being removed wasnt that bad until I realized theres no escaping the heat 😭. Even in the airport and hospitals, its sometimes hotter inside

I live in Florida. Summer here is a piece of cake because most people are going from one air conditioned space to another. Home- car - businesses. Those who's job entails working outdoors are the only ones who suffer.
