@gabriela_flax: I thought a lot about staying in tech + climbing the ladder vs building my own portfolio career (Ie. having multiple income streams instead of one 9-5 job). Ultimately, I knew that when I wanted kids, a traditional 9-5 wasn’t what I saw for myself BUT I still wanted to use the skills + knowledge I had to build a career that was even bigger. So during trimester zero (the 1-1 years before kids) I made the leap to building different income streams across coaching, fractional work, and content.
