I feel like the show removed all the scenes that humanized Daemon, like his relationship with his daughters and the way he comforted them when their mom died, or his relationship with Rhaenyra and her kids.

To your final points, I hate when team green supporters try to say “Rhaenyra didn’t love her children because she let them get involved in the war”. As if her kids weren’t as headstrong as their mother, and weren’t going to do it anyway??

I’ll always say this Rhaenyra loved all her boys the same but had a different closeness with her 3 elder boys she had to protect them to keep them safe where as no one would question whether Viserys and Aegon where Daemons they weren’t contested

Daemon has been loyal from the start. He was always loyal to his brother. he would do things for attention but he was loyal to him and to Rhaenyra. Daemon is a true ride or die for his family

I dunno why “Jace go to your room” is sending me 😭 Also, how can anyone deny how Daemon felt about Rhaenyra’s sons when Vaemond’s death is literally right there for everyone to see?? He respected those kids and where they stood in the line of succession!

I love the scene in the show when Aamond calls them “strong” at dinner and Jace is about to lose it and Daemon steps in and basically instructs him to walk away with a look and Jace listens.
