Ogaaa I disagree with your knowledge of law…according to Lagos tenancy law,It shouldn’t be more than 50% to 55%…Anything above this is called arbitrary increment…let’s educate the public properly…Nothing like 100% or 200% in tenancy law ok

My own just called me say he don increase am from 700k to 1million. I contacted a lawyer and he advice that I should just pay because if I follow the matter legally it gon cost me a lot. I called the landlord the reason for the increment and he should please reduce it, instead he said if I don’t want it so, I should vacate immediately. To get a new apartment in my area will cost me 2m so I’ll just be paying the rent with tears till I get my own house 😔
